Battered Europe Gets Reprieve with Macron Victory

The rumors of the EU’s death were greatly exaggerated.  In spite of man’s musings, God will direct everyone and every thing in accordance with His plans (Proverbs 16:9). The EU will continue to exist, though not in its current form, until prophecy regarding it comes about.

Macron urged the French to embrace rather than reject globalization. And he vowed to work with Germany to relaunch the European Union, a project long seen as a guarantor of peace and prosperity but one which is now struggling to find its “raison d’etre” after years of crisis.

Macron’s victory represents a reprieve for Europe and the liberal democratic values for which it has stood for more than half a century.

The nightmare scenarios that were whispered about in European capitals in early 2017 have not materialized. Europe has been given another chance. Those are the main messages from Macron’s victory and they were reflected in the reactions from Europe on Sunday.

“Hurrah Macron President! There is hope for Europe!” Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni tweeted.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s spokesman called it a victory for a “strong united Europe” and for German-French friendship.

Erdogan Calls on Muslims to Flood Jerusalem’s Iconic Mosque

In Psalm 83:4, 6 prophecy shows that Turkey (Edom) will participate with others in trying to obliterate Israel.  In conjunction with the Beast Power and a confederation of Middle Eastern nations, they will effectively overrun the state of Israel as they already want to do.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called on Muslims around the world to visit Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem to protect the site’s Islamic identity.

“We, as Muslims, should be visiting Al-Quds more often,” Erdogan said, using the Arabic name for Jerusalem. “Each day that Jerusalem is under occupation is an insult to us.”

As many as 26,000 Turks visited the Temple Mount, or Noble Sanctuary, in 2016. However, Erdogan emphasised “hundreds of thousands” should be visiting the site, which is considered holy by Muslims. “[It] would be the greatest support to our brothers there,” he said.

Erdogan also said that permanent peace in the region would only be possible with a “fair solution to the Palestinian issue”.

The Pot Calling the Kettle Black

Any time that we, as a nation, reject God and put our trust in man this below will happen and the result will be less than desirable – whether it’s Trump or Obama (1 Samuel 10:19). For more information learn why we should NOT vote for either one.

Claiming that he is spending his time “empowering an effective network of global activists,” former President Barack Obama told an audience in Milan, Italy today that “you get the politicians you deserve.”

Can Times Get Better in America Without a Major Crisis?

The US is headed down a path of destruction of its own making.  The lesson to be learned is that man’s ways ultimately do not work.  It is in times like those that are coming that people will learn that they need to turn back to God.

The U.S. is past the point of no return. Even though the system is stained with blood, it will not and it cannot self-correct. And certainly it will not through the political process…. It will have to totally collapse.

So to answer the original interrogative: Can times get better in America without a major crisis?

Not possible!

We must go through the fire to wipe the slate clean. I hope you are prepared.

The End of Western Civilization

When a society moves away from God and relies on its own power and abilities, it is the beginning of the end. The US, for this reason, is inevitably headed toward a prophetic conclusion.

It’s been said, correctly, that a civilization always collapses from within. World War 1, in 1914, signaled the start of the long collapse of Western Civilization. Of course, termites were already eating away at the foundations, with the writings of people like Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Karl Marx. It’s been on an accelerating downward path ever since, even though technology and science have been improving at a quantum pace. They are, however, like delayed action flywheels, operating on stored energy and accumulated capital.
