Strategic Patience with North Korea Over

Please see our comments from before Trump became president.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday that North Korea’s nuclear and ballistic missiles program required a “determined response,” and that the era of “strategic patience” with North Korea’s government had ended.

“The era of strategic patience with the North Korean regime has failed. … Frankly, that patience is over,” Trump said in the White House Rose Garden in a joint appearance with South Korean President Moon Jae-in.

“We’re working closely with South Korea and Japan, as well as partners around the world, on a range of diplomatic, security and economic measures to protect our allies and our own citizens from this menace known as North Korea,” Trump said.

‘The Next War will be Bloody’

Romans 3:15-17

“The next war will be pretty bloody for both sides. Israel will evacuate its population and I suggest the Lebanese do the same,” Lt.-Col. (res.) Sarit Zehavi told The Jerusalem Post at a briefing in Metulla, Israel’s northernmost town at the border with Lebanon.

Israel has long avoided evacuating civilians during wars, but is looking to change that policy in the North. In addition to the threat posed by Hezbollah’s stockpile of more than 100,000 rockets, the IDF is now concerned about the very real possibility of ground attacks against Israeli communities.

“It will be a totally new battlefield than what we saw in 2006,” she said, pointing out that the group has significantly increased its battlefield knowledge by fighting for the regime of Bashar Assad.

….two scenarios that would lead to war on the Lebanese front. “One would be Iran deciding to give the order to attack Israel, and the other would be a miscalculation by either side which would escalate into a full-blown war”….

Next Global Crash

Though it is not yet evident, the beast power will become the leading economic power of the world (Revelation 18:7) and many others will hitch their wagon to that rising star and become wealthy because of it (Revelation 18:9).

A new financial crisis is brewing in the emerging economies and it could hit “with a vengeance”, an influential group of central bankers has warned.

Emerging markets such as China are showing the same signs that their economies are overheating as the US and the UK demonstrated before the financial crisis of 2007-08….

The BIS, which is sometimes known as the central bank for central banks…warned of trouble ahead for the world economy.

It predicted that central banks would be forced to raise interest rates after years of record lows in order to combat inflation which will “smother” growth.

The world economy is still recovering from the financial crisis and the euro crisis which followed it in 2010.

Australian Majority Ditches Religion

Many wonder where God is today and why He is not actively involved in our lives. It is because we are moving from Him and not the other way around.

Australia is becoming older and more diverse — both culturally and religiously — according to new data from the country’s census.

Fifty years ago, census data showed that more than 88% of the country was Christian. It’s now just over 52%.

In the survey, which had a 95% response rate, more Australians didn’t identify with a religion than any single religion, a first for the country which had been predominantly Catholic. Nearly 30% reported “no religion,”….

U.S. Anxiety Level Rising Fast

There is a cure for this.

Anxiety levels of Americans over matters such as war, terrorism, hacking and identity theft have spiked in recent years, leaving the nation near average in a global barometer of perceptions of security, a survey released Tuesday said.

“It appears that our cloak of security, the impression that we had that we are more secure than the rest of the world, is starting to fade,” ….

Levels of U.S. anxiety jumped sharply since the last such survey was conducted in 2014, and came in at the highest levels since the surveys began a decade ago.

The United States …chalking up the same score on perceptions of security as Colombia….The U.S. score jumped from 123 in 2014 to 169 this year, an increase of 37 percent, the survey found. “The rest of the world also climbed, but the U.S. climbed at a higher rate,” Searcy said.

Canada Criminalizes Use Of Wrong Gender Pronoun

The idea that someone can “identify” as something else and then compel others to acknowledge it, opens the door to a plethora of problems. But at the core of this, is an ungodly assault on simple Biblical principles. In the very beginning God created us as male and female (Genesis 1:27) to give us insight into His plan. Now some have seen fit to attack this most basic tenet of Christianity —  in reality saying that it is no longer acceptable for us to hold or express our beliefs!

Canada passed a law Thursday making it illegal to use the wrong gender pronouns. Critics say that Canadians who do not subscribe to progressive gender theory could be accused of hate crimes, jailed, fined, and made to take anti-bias training.

Canada’s Senate passed Bill C-16, which puts “gender identity” and “gender expression” into both the country’s Human Rights Code, as well as the hate crime category of its Criminal Code by a vote of 67-11….

“Great news,” announced Justin Trudeau, Canada’s prime minister. “Bill C-16 has passed the Senate – making it illegal to discriminate based on gender identity or expression.”

Compelled speech has come to Canada,” stated Peterson.

“This tyrannical bill is nothing but social engineering to the nth degree….”

Conservative Cardinals Challenge Pope Doctrinally

We can expect to see the Catholic church becoming more hard-line in it’s views as well as demanding that others fall in line doctrinally as it asserts itself — particularly in European affairs.

Four conservative cardinals who have publicly challenged Pope Francis over his reforms of Catholic Church teaching have published a letter escalating the row.

The red-hatted “Princes of the Church” had sent a first letter to the Argentine pontiff at the end of last year in which they questioned the head of the Roman Catholic Church over his teachings on the family.

The ringleader, American Raymond Burke, publicly warned Francis it may be necessary to make a highly rare “formal act of correction” if he did not answer the letter — a bold and almost unheard of challenge to the pope’s authority.

The four insist the pope’s overtures in favour of allowing some remarried divorced people to take communion have sown confusion throughout the Church.

“What is a sin in Poland is correct in Germany, what is forbidden in the archdiocese of Philadelphia is lawful in Malta, and so on,” the letter said.

Catholics Making a Deal With the Devil

We can never assume that demonic spirits are telling the whole truth, but we can assume that they are working to the greatest degree allowed to influence mankind negatively.  In the end, the false prophet (the last pope) will be possessed (Revelation 13:11; 16:13) and under the control of the devil.

In death, Dr. Plinio [a right-wing Catholic figure who founded the TFP] is said to be in close contact with Satan, who supposedly can be channeled by Brazilian exorcists. He also… is working toward the death of Pope Francis…

By getting rid of Pope Francis, some of the doctor’s followers believe, the way would be open for the Catholic Church to elect a more conservative leader in line with their more traditional practices.

Specifically, Dr. Plinio’s followers led by Dias are said to be using rogue exorcism practices in which they actually communicate with the devil possessing people rather than chasing him out, as the standard accepted practice in Catholic exorcisms dictates.

The devil then turns to the fate of Pope Francis….“The Vatican? It’s mine, mine!” the devil says to the exorcist, according to Tornielli’s transcript. “The pope does whatever I want, he’s stupid! He obeys me in everything. He is my glory, he is willing to do everything for me. He serves me.”

A Cyberattack ‘the World Isn’t Ready For’

The world is becoming a scarier place day-by-day as it progress towards the end time. We cannot be sure of exactly how events will unfold — just that they will happen as prophesied.  This article shows just how susceptible we are to a precursory attack that could very well leave us vulnerable to an armed invasion by foreign forces.

There have been times over the last two months when Golan Ben-Oni has felt like a voice in the wilderness.

Scans for the two hacking tools used against IDT indicate that the company is not alone. In fact, tens of thousands of computer systems all over the world have been “backdoored” by the same N.S.A. weapons. Mr. Ben-Oni and other security researchers worry that many of those other infected computers are connected to transportation networks, hospitals, water treatment plants and other utilities.

An attack on those systems, they warn, could put lives at risk.

“The world is burning about WannaCry, but this is a nuclear bomb compared to WannaCry,” Mr. Ben-Oni said. “This is different. It’s a lot worse. It steals credentials. You can’t catch it, and it’s happening right under our noses.”

And, he added, “The world isn’t ready for this.”

“I look at this as a life-or-death situation,” he said. “Today it’s us, but tomorrow it might be someone else.”
